Good Charlotte is the talk of the town with their punk rock tunes and “rock star” looks. Through the help of regular radio rotation and MTV, Good Charlotte is making their way into hearts all over the world.

When first listening to "The Young & the Hopeless", it sounds like every other punk band. The same whinny voice in a “feel-sorry-for-me” way. But as I delved farther into the album, the songs got better, there’s more depth and less of a cookie cutter quality.

The highlight of the album, for me was "Emotion Less." This is a nice and mellow song, compared to the rest of the album. It has a lot of character emitting through my CD player and it shows that even tough punk rockers can be just as meaningful.

All in all, this album is definitely worth adding to your CD collection. I'm looking forward to hearing what’s in store for their next album.
